Default Great STEMI case; DTB 15 mins.

We had a 73 yof visiting Rydal Park and was found in the lobby c/o back pain. Imagine my surprise when I saw this EKG:

After ASA, NTG and a little MS the pt. was nearly pain free. Spent 3 mins in the ER before going to the cath lab.

Default Symptoms?

You stated the patient's chief complaint was "back pain" Did she present with any other "CLASSIC" symptoms of ACS?

If not this is a great example of expanding the criteria for performing 12-Lead ECG! Elderly females can have silent MI, which requires us to think outside the box when evaluating and treating our patients.
