VOLUNTEER MEMBERSHIP PROCESS INFORMATION
- Download, complete and submit your application
- The minimum age for Second Alarmers Membership is 16. If you are younger please check out our Venture Crew information.
- An interview between you and the membership committee will be scheduled
- If successfully completed, the membership committee will submit your application packet to the organization membership to be voted upon.
- Once you are voted into membership you will need to attend an initial orientation session and OSHA mandated training which lasts about 5 hours. You will also need to obtain the minimum level of Advanced First Aid Provider and CPR within your first six month probationary period.
- The speed on obtaining approvals to perform in each area of our department will depend on how motivated you are. If you are brand new to the industry or a seasoned provider the pace you make is your own.
Membership applications can also be obtained from the Administrative Headquarters Building located at 307 Davisville Road. If you have questions please feel free to call 215-659-1885 or stop by during the early evening hours and ask for a tour while you are there!
